Milo's UAAP 3-on-3 Tourney

Milo is sponsoring a 3-on-3 tournament for 7 of the 8 UAAP schools (DLSU isn't participating) that looks pretty interesting. Check out the possible lineups.

FEU
Reil Cervantes/Russel Escoto
Pipo Noundou/Paul Sanga
RR Garcia/Terrence Romeo

ADMU
JP Erram/Kristian Panganiban
Norman Penola/Paul Siarot
Alec Rivera/Jayvee Dumrique

UE
Samuel Razon/Adrian Santos
Kenneth Acibar/Jhon Sumido
Lord Casajeros/Raphy Reyes

UP
Carlo Gomes/Alinko
Woody Co/Alvin Padilla
Mikee Reyes/Mark Lopez

ADU
Eric Camson/Lionel Manyara
Jan Colina/Vincent Importante
Alex Nuyles/Jansen Rios

NU
Jewel Ponferrada/Emmanuel Mbe
Mervin Baloran/Joseph Nlepe Nlepe
Joseph Terso/Kokoy Hermosisima

UST
Melo Afunag/Chris Camus
Aljon Mariano/Jeric Teng
Jeric Fortuna/Clark Baustita

Early favorites look to be FEU where a Cervantes/Sanga/Garcia team is looking likely. UST might give them a scare with their Camus/Teng/Fortuna lineup. I'm very interested to see the two NU recruits Mbe and Nlepe Nlepe, who are currently leading the voting over the more established Ponferrada and Baloran. Mbe is listed at 6'7 and Nlepe Nlepe at 6'6. UP's lineup would be interesting as well if the 6'8 Alinko can beat out Gomes. I'd like to see an Alinko/Padilla/Reyes team, although Woody Co is ahead of Padilla in the voting.

And Terrence Romeo on the FEU candidates? Does that mean he's already on the Tams seniors team? That makes them even more dangerous for next season.

La Salle is not participating and Ateneo sent a whole bunch of Team B shocktroopers although some of those guys are going to be elevated to Team A for next season. That makes the field weaker than it should have been. But still, this looks like its worth a look.

If you want to cast your vote visit this website. Voting ends today.

Looks like the import wars are about to begin..Lets see how ADMU or DLSU reacts..UAAP teams are allowed 2 imports but they can't play them at same time right? is the rule same with the NCAA? Romeo? They already have RR Garcia. I hope they'll let RR be the man. Andy and RR both struggled last year playing with each other because they were similar players. Capacio should know better now. He can't force them to play with each other. One has to give way for the other. And its RR's time to shine. But hey maybe they can fit with each other. But Francis and Marbury couldn't do it. Andy and RR couldn't do it.

romeo better learn how to play with teammates though. he's so used to having the ball in his hands so much because hes so good at getting buckets but it isnt going to come as easy in the seniors division. hes going to need rr to set him up more often. cant be hogging the ball anymore. not until hes in his third or fourth year. haha.
