- The U-16 Philippine Team will be gunning for a semifinal slot in the FIBA U-16 championships today. They swept their three games in the group phase, and has won one of their two games in the quarterfinals group pairings. They need to win at lest two of three quarterfinals games to advance. Kiefer Ravena scored 26 points in a 76-70 loss to Iran yesterday, their first in five games. This was the third game Ravena scored 20 or more, as he average 18.6 points for the tournament.
- The PCCL tourney has begun. Trix of Driball breaks down the FEU and San Beda wins over Arellano University and San Sebastian-Cavite.
- Liga Pilipinas playoffs are under away as well. The Misamis Oriental Meteors pulled off a win against the Pampaga Buddies to start off the Smart Liga Pilipinas Conference 3 Super Leg, where spots in the finals are up for grabs.
- Barako Bull continues to make it interesting for the top teams, pushing Sta Lucia to overtime last Sunday. Should we stop being surprised now?
